LEH - KHALSAR - PANAMIK - TIRIT - LEH (7 DAYS) (JEEP SAFARI)
1st Day : Leh - Khalsar …. 1109 km Leave Leh early after breakfast with packed lunch, cross Khardong - la (5540 M) thru the highest road in the world. Just below the pass is "check post." Get your passport checked and arrive at Khalsar on the other side of the pass for overnight in camp.
2nd Day : KHALSAR - PANAMIK …. 75 km After visiting Gompa (Monastery) at Khalsar, drive to Panamik - a very large settlement at the bank of Nubra river.
3rd Day : at Panamik Visit Hot Water sulphur spring - have abath, ideal for physical ailments, return to camp for lunch. Afternoon visit 250 years old Samoor Gompa. Overnight in camp.
4th Day : at Leisure Visit Nubra river, local people, Bazar and pick some of local Handicrafts.
5th Day : PANAMIK - TIRIT Drive back to Tirit village - a centre of Handicrafts, wool and Jewellery. Overnight in camp.
6th Day : Free Day 7th Day : TIRIT - LEH Drive back to Leh after crossing Khardong - la, reaching Leh around 4P.M.
